Our History

Aluminium Bending Specialists Ltd (ABS Ltd) was founded by Brian Bartram and Robert Pasierb, who identified a clear gap in the market for a specialist aluminium bending company built around quality, precision and technical expertise.

In 2007, following Brian Bartram’s retirement, Greg Russell progressed from Production Manager to Production Director, strengthening ABS’s operational capability. At the same time, Robert Gavin joined the business as Sales Director, further supporting the company’s continued growth and customer-focused approach.

In October 2012, Robert Pasierb retired, leaving Greg Russell and Robert Gavin to lead the company forward. Together, they continue to develop and refine ABS’s aluminium bending techniques, building on more than 27 years of technical innovation and industry experience.

Over the past 27 years, ABS Ltd has delivered curved aluminium sections for a number of prestigious, high-profile projects, including Aviva Stadium in Dublin, the London Olympic Athletes’ Village, and the McLaren Motorsport production facility, among many others.

Today, the ABS leadership team brings nearly 50 years of combined experience in aluminium extrusion bending and forming. Their commitment to continuous improvement, technical excellence and quality workmanship ensures ABS remains at the forefront of aluminium bending in the UK.
