Greg Russell
Managing Director
Greg was appointed Production Director in January 2007, following 12 years as Production Manager at ABS, and went on to become Managing Director in 2012. With over 30 years of experience in aluminium bending, he brings a wealth of technical expertise and strong leadership to the business. He plays a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and operational performance.
Outside of work, Greg is a keen gardener and an avid rugby fan, proudly supporting his home nation of Scotland.

Debbie Russell
Customer Relations Manager
I'm someone who takes great pride in creating a positive experience for others with a strong passion for delivering excellent customer service.
When i get time i like to bake as way to relax, I also have a Pre-Teen daughter who keeps me young whilst turning my hair grey at the same time.

Gary Kemp
General Manager
Gary began his career at ABS in 2001 as a Bending Operative and has worked his way up through the business, becoming Shift Supervisor and then Production Manager in 2008. With over two decades of hands-on experience, he has played a key role in improving quality and efficiency across operations. In 2024, Gary was promoted to General Manager, reflecting his commitment and contribution to the company. He also holds a CMI Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership. Outside of work, Gary is a keen freshwater angler and enjoys nothing more than spending his weekends on the riverbank.

Daniel Urwin
Sales Estimator
Daniel joined the team as an apprentice in December 2022 and has since progressed through the department to become one of our senior estimators. Having developed his role within the sales team, he uses the experience gained to provide fair and prompt quotes.
Outside of the office, Daniel enjoys the quiet of a good novel, going for walks, and staying active with calisthenics.

Dale Hawkes
Estimator
Dale became part of the ABS Estimating team in March 2025 and has made a strong impression with his steady, detail-focused approach. He supports the team by helping keep estimates accurate and on track, and he’s quickly become a dependable member of the department.
Away from work, Dale is a keen gamer and has a real passion for fossil collecting, always on the lookout for his next interesting find. In his downtime, he enjoys keeping things relaxed by spending quality time hanging out with friends.

George Pickering
Factory Operative
George joined ABS in April 2021 as a Factory Operative, where he quickly proved himself to be hardworking and reliable. In January 2025, he was promoted into the office to take on shopfloor drawing duties, bringing valuable hands-on experience and practical knowledge into his new role.
Outside of work, George is passionate about kickboxing and also teaches the sport, sharing his skills and discipline with others. When he’s not training or coaching, he enjoys gaming and getting away on camping trips to unwind.
